Brand Story
After an exciting night in the clubs, we sat in the morning sun, looking out at the former Tempelhof airport runway, feeling almost overwhelmed by this euphoric moment. We were at the right place, at the right time. Anything seemed possible. And it was there that we had the idea to make watches that would embody the urban lifestyle of Berlin.
The character of our watches is minimalistic yet profound. The subtle features on the dial, the architecture of the case and the colors of the straps reflect the city in which they were designed. Some details draw direct inspiration, like the shape of the crown which mimics the Weltzeituhr, while others focus on specific sentiments of the city, like the seconds hand in ‘Serenity Blue’ inspired by the "blue hour". Our design is even officially excellent, with the L1 winning the German Design Award, the iF Design Award and the Green Product Award!
